All Saints Day
This coming Monday the Catholic Church celebrates All Saints’ Day. All Saints Day is a Christian holiday dedicated to honouring and commemorating the saints. It is also known as All Hallows’ Day or the Feast of All Saints. It is observed yearly on November 1 by the Catholic Church. All Saints’ Day celebrates both known and unknown saints. Saints are all people who are believed to have reached heaven. All Saints day is grounded in the belief that the world is spiritually connected to heaven.
This All Saints Day remember to pray to a patron saint for a special intention that you have and pray to a loved one who is now a saint in Heaven.
Reconciliation
Please pray for the students in Year 4 who are celebrating the sacrament of Reconciliation in the coming weeks. The teachers and students have been busy preparing to celebrate this beautiful sacrament of healing, which focuses on forgiveness and restoring relationships. Families have also been involved by working together with their children to help prepare them for the sacrament.
