Despite the grey skies, it was a dry and mild day for the AFL Schools Gala Day at Kambah Playing Fields on Tuesday 3 March 2020.

With St Clare’s fielding 2 teams- Grade 4/5 and a Grade 5/6 – a round robin of games were played amongst other Tuggeranong based schools.

With an emphasis on fun, skill development and participation, teams of 9-a-side played 2 x 15 minute halves and there was a high standard of Aussie Rules on display.

While the 2 St Clare’s teams may not have made it through to the finals this time, footy was certainly the winner!
