Mindmap. Mindmap will collocate at Mura Lanyon Youth and Community Center, 22 Sidney Nolan Street, Conder, each Thursday afternoon.
MindMap provides information about services specific to Young People/mental health in Canberra and surrounds.
The MindMap team are available online from 11am- 10pm, 7 days per week (via telephone, online chat or email) to assist Young People and their families to link with services specific to their needs. The site holds knowledge articles with handy information related to mental health and is a 'one stop shop' for finding quality information.
MindMap also offers an 'Active Hold' service. WOW!
This is a free counselling service for Young People 0-25 who are on the waitlist for another service. Active hold is available from 9am- 5pm, 5 days per week. The MindMap ‘Single session Intervention’ offers a ‘one off’ appointment to unpack the current circumstances and challenges for a Young Person and assist with making warm referrals. Both Active Hold and Single Session Intervention can be offered at our primary site in Narrabundah, our outreach post at Mura Lanyon Community and Youth Centre in Conder , or online.
There is no waitlist for ‘Active Hold’ or ‘Single Session Intervention’. The referral process is simple, or with consent, clinicians can reach out via the phone or chat on our website. Young People and their parents/carers can also self-refer via chat, email, or phone,
