Squiggles Match Report

Squiggles on Saturday 31 August versed the Holy Family Milk Ways and it was a tightly contested game from both teams. It looked at one stage that it was going to be a point to point match. Both teams did great job in their defence and there was some fabulous intercepts.  The Milky Ways won the match 14-9. The Squiggles as a team demonstrate outstanding sporting spirit and do their best each week. They  have continued to progress over the season and should be so proud of themselves.

Skittles Match Report

On Saturday the Skittles played the SCA Sunshines for the very last time. Both teams started out in Year 1 and have had fun playing against each other for the last 6 years. On such a beautiful day, the girls had lots of fun playing each other. There were plenty of smiles and laughs all over the court.

Phoebe, Mia, Ella B and Teah put up many impressive shots and did fabulous drives into the circle. Sammi, Charlotte and Lily played amazing in the centre court. They threw great passes and got the ball down the court smoothly. Maddi, Jaida, Isabel and Ella R were fantastic in defence. They achieved awesome intercepts on the court and rebounds in the circle. The Skittles played a great game and really showed their fantastic team work.

It has been so amazing to watch these girls grow into such wonderful netball players over the last 6 years. It has been a privilege to be a part of their journey. We wish them all the very best in the future.
