First Reconciliation Retreat

Yesterday our Year 4 students participated in the Reconciliation Retreat Day at Holy Family Church. The day involved the students exploring the sacrament of Reconciliation and considering the importance of forgiveness in their everyday lives. The children created clay pots, completed charcoal drawings and went through the signs and symbols of the sacrament. Thank you to our Parish Sacramental Coordinator Ms Anne Gowen for planning the day and the Year 4 teachers for supporting our students. The sacrament will be celebrated over two nights in Week 8.

Christmas Appeal

This week, a note will come home and go out on Compass regarding the upcoming Vinnies Christmas Appeal. Every year, our school collects hamper items for vulnerable families in our community. Our local Vinnies Calwell conference, will collect these items in week 9, and distribute those to families in need. Thank you for your support of this.
