From The Principal Week 4

Dear Families,

All_sts_day.jpg

On this feast of All Saints, we recall that Saints are great examples for each of us. They serve as testimonies of the transformative power of faith and devotion to God. A quick web search on Catholic saints, and you will see that Saints come from diverse backgrounds and eras, yet they all share a common thread of unwavering commitment to their beliefs. Their lives exemplify the teachings of Christ, providing a tangible model for us to emulate.

One of the most remarkable aspects of saints is their selflessness and dedication to serving others. Their acts of charity, compassion, and sacrifice inspire us to put the needs of others before our own. In a world often consumed by materialism and self-interest, saints remind us of the profound impact one person's faith and love can have on the lives of many.

Saints offer a beacon of hope. They faced trials and tribulations, just like the rest of us, and yet they overcame these challenges through their faith. This resilience encourages us to persevere in our own struggles, knowing that faith can provide the strength to endure even the most daunting circumstances. Our own St Clare is a true example of this.

In summary, saints are not distant or unattainable figures but relatable and inspiring examples of how to live a life dedicated to God and others. They challenge us to live more virtuously, love more deeply, and pursue a deeper relationship with God. Saints remind us that holiness is not an unattainable ideal but a calling that each of us can strive for in our own way.

Fete

Make sure it’s in your calendar – Friday 17 November from 4.00 – 8.30pm.

Strangers in the house!

sign_in.jpg

For obvious reasons my wife and I always like to know who is in our house. Visitors are greeted at the front door and welcomed.

For the safety of your child, and the other 520 in the school, we also need to know who is in the school. Even if only visiting for a short time we require all visitors sign to in at the front office.

Did You Know…

Not only do your school fees (school levies) cover the cost of all classroom materials and learning resources; they also pay electricity, water, phone, cleaning, ISP costs, internet security, grounds and many other costs.

Please do all you can to get up to date with school fee payments. If you have any concerns regarding fees, please don’t hesitate to contact Jo McCarthy or me
