This weekend’s Gospel reading comes from the Acts of the Apostles, 13:22-26: The Nativity of John. What a wonderful time in our Church as we see the mercy of a God who provides for and nurtures his people. The first reading reminds us that ‘John is a light to Jesus, so Jesus could be a light to the nations.’ As we follow our school motto, ‘Be the Light’ we reflect on how we have been a light this term. As I look around this school community, I see so many people ‘being the light’ for others. From students showing care and compassion for their peers, to donations for SVdP being generously brought in, to teachers preparing considered and insightful reports – we are all a light and that light shines brightly in the community of SCA!

Food Drive

This week is our last week to collect items for our Winter Food Drive. We have already made one car load full donation to SVdP who were greatly appreciative of the collective support of our community. Thank you to all parents and carers for the ongoing leadership you provide through this support!

Eucharist Enrolments

Class Masses

Class Mass for Week 9 is 4B and 3R (Mrs Wilkes and Miss Pitts). Parents are very welcome to join us in the Chapel for Mass at 12:15pm. Week 10 is 4R and 1G (Mrs Sutcliffe and Mr Brown).
