Sunshines Match Report
On a freezing but beautiful day, Sunshines took on Maddies for this round. We started really strong, with excellent mid-court play from Zoe and Mili. Kayla and Madi A were kept busy in defence, with Maddies having to work hard to get the ball into their shooters. Aluel, Sami and Maddie F were challenged by the strong Maddies defence, but managed to get some good feeds into the circle despite this. While we have struggled to take a win this year, we’ve made a lot of progress and had a lot of fun along the way. Thanks my little Sunshines, I have absolutely loved being your coach.
Stars Match Report
The stars faced freezing conditions on Saturday, and with no subs they played a hard game against St Francis of Assisi Stargazers!
The girls didn’t let the cold get to them, bringing tight defence and great team work! It was great game, everyone played really well as a team and nearly brought home the win, down by just one goal to finish 10-11.
