From 10.00am to 3.00pm on Sunday 6 November, Viking Park will be filled with over 20 local sporting organisations giving people the chance to try out a new sport or return to an old favourite regardless of age or ability.

Including (but not limited to) Baseball, Calisthenics, Little Athletics, Softball, Fishing, Tennis, Lawn Bowls and of course, the sport everyone loves, Rugby Union – there is sure to be something for everyone.

Whether you are looking for an individual sport or a team sport, whether it’s for yourself, the kids or Nanna, the range of sports on display will suit everyone in the family.

Vikings Sunday Funday is part of the successful South Fest celebration of Tuggeranong and will have Canberra’s own ACT Brumbies in attendance for the duration including Wallabies stars returning from their time away.

We will have a passport promotion running, if people get a stamp from all the stall holders and complete their details, they will go into the draw for a $250, $150 or $100 rebel sport voucher and the first 104 visitors will receive a free showbag.

Vikings Junior Rugby will be running the canteen and the Vikings Fisho’s will have their BBQ turned to high! 

This event is giving an opportunity for members of the public to jump little athletics hurdles, hit a softball, tumble with our champion gymnasts, or test their Rugby skills against the Grand Final winning ViQueens. 

We would love your support and invite everyone to participate in this exciting local community event aimed at encouraging social engagement and a sense of belonging amongst our Tuggeranong community.
