All Saints Day
This coming Tuesday the Catholic Church celebrates All Saints’ Day. All Saints Day is a Christian holiday dedicated to honouring and commemorating the saints. It is also known as All Hallows’ Day or the Feast of All Saints. It is observed yearly on November 1 by the Catholic Church. All Saints’ Day celebrates both known and unknown saints. Saints are all people who are believed to have reached heaven. All Saints day is grounded in the belief that the world is spiritually connected to heaven.
This All Saints Day remember to pray to a patron saint for a special intention that you have and pray to a loved one who is now a saint in Heaven.
All Souls Day
All Souls’ Day is a day to remember the souls of all those who have died. This feast is celebrated on November 2 and is a special day to fondly remember loved ones who are no longer with us. Celebrating All Souls’ Day is one way to never forget those who have gone before us.
