This week we commemorate the 75th anniversary of Australian Peacekeeping Operations on National Peacekeepers Day, Wednesday 14 September.

The day will be marked by with a televised commemorative service at the National Peacekeeping Memorial, which was opened here in Canberra in 2017. Many of our students, past and present, will have a parent or relative who has taken part in a peacekeeping operation - whether Defence, Police or Civilian. In fact, we have been involved in peacekeeping missions every year since 1947.
