Eucharist Retreat Day
Yesterday our Year 5 students and teachers participated in their Eucharist Retreat Day. Mrs Anne Gowen, our Parish Sacramental Coordinator, led the day with a variety of experiences that furthered the students' understanding of how Jesus is present in the Word, in the People, and in the Eucharist. The day concluded with the healing sacrament of Reconciliation.
Parent and Child Eucharist Sessions
Parents and carers of Year 5 students enrolled for First Eucharist are reminded that you are required to attend one of the parent and child sessions at Holy Family Church at 6:30pm on either Wednesday 31st August or Thursday 1st September next week.
RUOK Purple Happy Day
Our school will be celebrating this special day on the last day of term. Students are allowed to wear free uniform clothing, with a splash of purple and/or yellow, or a whole outfit of purple and/or yellow. The day promotes the importance of good mental health and well-being and will build our sense of well-being and school community.
Students are asked to bring a gold coin donation to fundraise for those in need in our community.
