Feast Week
Next week we are celebrating St Clare of Assisi's Feast Day with lots of celebrations at school. We celebrate for the whole week, assisting our community to come to know and love St Clare. The table below outlines everything families need to know to celebrate this special occasion. The activity grid will be sent home via Compass.
A reminder that Feast Day notes are on Compass to approve for your child to attend the Feast Day Mass. All children require the note for approval to attend the church.

Youth Minister News
Hi, it is Osley, the St Clare of Assisi Youth minister for 2022. During the past two weeks, I was given the fantastic opportunity to go on a mission to Fiji with CSYMA. During the mission trip, we were able to go into some parishes and schools in Fiji. In the parishes and schools, we ran our Catch-the-Wave retreat that is run in high schools in Canberra; the retreat consisted of running games for the children, talking about the kerygma and sharing testimonies from the group. It was eye-opening as to the needs of the world, physical and spiritual. It was also encouraging to see God work in and through the team.
A highlight of the mission was being in St Anne's primary school and hearing the children all sing so beautifully when we arrived. The children and teachers are all filled with such joy and love. It was so inspiring seeing how grateful they are for family and the things they have. It was such an eye-opener and has given me a different view of life. Being in Fiji, I was able to experience God in new ways; I saw him in new faces, in how many lives he has touched, and how much bigger he is than I thought.
I am eternally grateful for the time ministering to the beautiful people of Fiji. The Holy Spirit was so alive, and I have a new motivation to spread the Gospel.
