Thank you everyone who braved the cold weather and jumped on board the Active Streets Program  and walked, rode and scootered to school.

We now have the Walking Passport for children to get stamped each time they walk, ride, scoot or skate to school. Students simply need to ask their teacher or the front office to stamp their passport. Once the passport is completed students will receive an Active Streets Certificate.

A reminder that The Active Streets for School Program run by the ACT Government delivers infrastructure improvements around schools to make it safer and easier to ride, walk, scooter or skate to and from school. Parents agree the worst part of a school day is picking up the kids in the line-up of traffic. The combination of traffic, time crunch and children who may or may not be cooperative all contribute to this stress, which we can reduce through this program.  Let’s get on board and support The Active Streets for School Program.
