Year 6 Confirmation Retreat Day
Today our Year 6 students participated in their Confirmation Retreat Day at Holy Family Church Gowrie. The students continued their learning about the sacrament of Confirmation. They engaged in spiritual reflection on the Holy Spirit, the saints, icons, and their own personal faith journeys. Thank you to Mrs Anne Gowen, our sacramental coordinator for leading the students and teachers throughout the day.
Vinnies Appeal
We would really appreciate your small contributions so that as a community, we can make a huge positive impact on individual’s lives that are doing it tough!
The Vinnies Night Patrol Van is also looking for donations of winter woolies such as blankets, sleeping bags, scarves, beanies, jackets etc that you no longer need. Items of all sizes in good clean condition are welcomed.
Thank you in advance for your support of Vinnies. Simply bring in your donations via your child's classroom and a member of our local Vinnies will collect for us.
Donations due no later than Thursday 16 June.

Reconciliation Week 27 May - 3 June
The National Reconciliation Week theme for 2022 is:
'Be Brave. Make Change.'
Everyone is asked to make change beginning in their daily lives - where they live, work, play and socialise. National Reconciliation Week is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia.
The Canberra Reconciliation Day art work for 2022 has been painted by an artist and former parent of our SCA community; Lynnice Church.
