RE News
The third pillar of Lent is ALMSGIVING.
When we give to those who have less than we do, we honour Jesus’ call to serve our neighbours and we share the gifts we have received.
Project Compassion
Please remember to send in a gold coin donation when possible, for Caritas during Lent.
Tonight and tomorrow night the parish is holding the parent formation nights for parents and carers of Confirmation candidates from 7-8 pm at Holy Family Church Gowrie. You only need to attend one of the sessions. A reminder that enrolments for Year 6 students for the Catholic sacrament of Confirmation close on 4th April.
Harmony Day
Next Monday 21 March our school will celebrate Harmony Day. Harmony Day is a day to celebrate Australian multiculturalism. It is about inclusiveness, respect and belonging for all Australians, regardless of cultural or linguistic background, united by a set of core Australian values.
Students are allowed to wear non-uniform clothing which has the colour orange, or clothing that represents something from their culture. Clothing and footwear should be appropriate for school.
On Harmony Day students are asked to bring a 'splash of cash' in support of The Flood Appeal in NSW. We will donate directly through Catholic Education approved charities.
