Athletics Carnival - Year 3 – 6 

Dear Year 3-6 Parents,

The Athletics Carnival will be held on Friday 30th April at Banks Oval.   The carnival will include both track and field events and we are once calling for assistance from parents to help run our carnival.

We greatly appreciate any offer of assistance to help our carnival run smoothly. Due to Government Requirements, you are required to either have a current Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) card or have applied for one in order to volunteer at school events. If you have not yet received your WWVP card, you may sign a Statutory Declaration declaring that you have applied for one and include with that a copy of your receipt of application.

If you require a Statutory Declaration please contact the Front Office staff at St Clare of Assisi. The form can be filled out by you at home, but needs to be signed by you and witnessed by a teacher from St Clare of Assisi. Staff will be available to witness signatures from 8.00 to 8.40 every morning and from 3.00 to 3.30 every afternoon.

If you have a current Working with Vulnerable People card and you haven’t already done so, can you please bring that in to the Front Office, where it will be sighted and photocopied. Your name will then be added to our records.

COVID-19 RECORD KEEPING - At this stage, we ask that all parent volunteers please sign in at the oval using the QR Code or similar. We as a school will also keep your details on record as part of our COVID plan.

Please Note: WWVP Cards must be with you on the day and sighted by a member of St Clare of Assisi staff before you will be given  a job.
